The faith teaches us that persons who are dear to us, in the peace of Christ are not separated from us, but are still united in love and the life of God which surrounds us. The tradition of the Church has always exhorted us to pray for the deceased. We can intercede for them with prayers of intercession.
To pray for the dead is an act of Christian charity and is one of the acts of mercy which is available to everyone; the succour, support and aid which we give to them is returned to us through their protection. In this reciprocal remembrance we continue in an invisible way the bonds of affection that united us on this earth.
You can choose to celebrate one or more masses for a person, living or deceased or simply according to your intentions.
It is not possible to request a specific date for your Mass intention. The friars will undertake to celebrate it as soon as possible, on the first available date.
